Dispatch Center EMHC has an in house dispatch center with licensed EMT’s and final semester EMT students dispatching. The dispatch center is the heart of our operation equipped with radio systems, pager and cell phone contact to all ambulances. Read more.
Our Fleet of Ambulances At the start of 2006 we introduced the first fuel-efficient Euro style ambulance in the State of Tennessee. The new ambulances have a yield of 23 miles per gallon compared to the old style ambulances getting 6 to 10. Read more.
Disaster Response The day after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, EHMC was asked to dispatch seven ambulances to Slidell, Louisiana to assist in the transportation and care of the hurricane victims. Read more.
