EMHC has an in house dispatch center with licensed EMT’s and final semester EMT students dispatching. The dispatch center is the heart of our operation equipped with radio systems, pager and cell phone contact to all ambulances. Our ambulances are tracked with a nationwide global positioning system that interacts with our computer aided dispatching system along with being displayed on a large lcd monitor for the dispatcher to track each vehicle.

Our dispatch center telephone lines are recorded and available to any member of management as their desk for review. This provides us the ability to monitor each call placed requesting a patient transport. All of these technologies have been instrumental in allowing EMHC to provide accurate and dependable service over the years. Our goal is to advance with the needs of our facilities and meet the response of every call.

In January 2009 EMHC was awarded the honor of providing back up emergency operations to Memphis Medcom the Regional Medical Communications Center. EMHC supplies the necessary communications and staffing for emergency communications should the need arise.
