EMHC is a Class A rated service with the Tennessee Department of Health providing advanced medical care to the Mid-South. Our ambulances are staffed with EMT-IV’s, EMT-B, EMT-P and RN’s which meet National Registry and State of Tennessee requirements which are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. All paramedics are current in ACLS. Our ICU ambulance has the capability of holding multiple medical personnel or equipment if needed. This ambulance has been used many times by the Pedi-Flight team at Lebonheur Children’s Medical Center, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Aeromed Express, Medway Air Ambulance, and ICU JET use EMHC exclusively for transporting patients to their aircraft at the airport.

Our ambulance personnel are trained in the use of our in-house portable ventilator as well as the standard equipment as required by the State of Tennessee, Department of Health.

Annually our Employees attend continuing education as prescribed by the Department of Health and our Medical Director.
