Our Fleet of Ambulances
State-of-the-art critical care in an environmentally advanced context
EMHC is a Class A rated ambulance service with the Tennessee Department of Health, providing advanced medical care.
EMHC is capable of transporting a range of patients from pediatric to wheelchair patients. Ambulatory patients can be transported on request.
EMHC’s fleet includes a highly specialized ICU ambulance capable of holding multiple medical personnel or extra equipment if needed.
- Pedi-Flight teams at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have repeatedly used this ambulance for critical transports.
- Aeromed Express Air Ambulance and ICU JET use EMHC exclusively for transporting patients to their aircraft at the airport.
- All of our ALS ambulances have 12 lead EKG transmitting capabilities, allowing us to send EKG’s directly to receiving hospitals.
- All ambulances feature internet-based GPS tracking and Drive Cam cameras to provide real-time, positioning information, such as speed and location of an ambulance at any specific time.
- EMHC’s fleet has expanded to include 10 wheelchair vans, allowing us to serve a greater patient need.
In 2006, EMHC introduced the first fuel-efficient, Euro-style ambulance in Tennessee. As of 2011, this total has increased to 20, further increasing vehicle fuel-efficiency while simultaneously creating a greener impact by the fleet as a whole.
