Through continually investing in advanced technologies, EMHC insures its patients receive accurate, state-of-the art care.

• EMHC’s local operations base includes an in-house dispatch center, staffed by licensed and final semester EMT’s.
• Our computer-aided dispatching system allows our dispatchers to track each ambulance on a large, LCD monitor via a link to the nationwide, global positioning system installed in each vehicle.
• Advanced radio systems allow for continual pager and cell phone contact with all ambulances.
• All dispatch calls are recorded in order that each request for patient transport may be monitored as needed to insure the highest level of facility and patient response.
• Every crew carries a Panasonic EPCR Toughbook laptop that links directly to our ZOLL dispatch and patient transport information system.

In January 2009, EMHC was awarded the honor of providing back-up emergency operations to Memphis Medcom, the regional medical communications center. EMHC supplies the necessary communications and staffing for emergency communications should the need arise.
